What is a Tap?

A TAP is a safe, welcoming, “easy to get to” place where East Palo Alto residents can use technology to further their individual and community goals. At each TAP, people from the community will be able to learn to use computers, access the Internet, receive online health and other relevant information, engage in civic issues like SmartVoter.org and community organizing, and get practical solutions to everyday problems.

Each technology access point will share a commitment and work together to make technology available and relevant to members of the community while applying creativity, innovation, and adaptability to provide unique services to their visitors.
