Expungement Resources

"Let's get real clean"
The Criminal Records Expungement process.

Having a felony record can be a serious obstacle to employment and other services regardless of how long ago it took place. This has long been a source of frustration in East Palo Alto but now there is something that can be done about it.

One Wednesday, April 6th, the "Let's Get Real Clean" Criminal Records Expungement seminar was held in East Palo Alto. The event was sponsored by All of Us or None in conjunction with Legal Services for Prisoners with Children, San Mateo County Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson, Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto, East Bay Community Law Center, Born Again Christian Center and Jerome P. Mullins Attorney at Law. An article about the seminar appeared in the San Jose Mercury and the San Mateo County Times.

Now that the ball has gotten rolling, EPA.net will be working with All of Us or None, the office of Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson and other stakeholders to create an Expungement Resources section on EPA.net. The section will provide information for both individuals and service providers on all aspects of the Expungement Process.
