One East Palo Alto

The residents of East Palo Alto have taken the future into their own hands-and changed its course in the process.

In 2001, OEPA's partners and participants successfully advanced a large-scale revitalization campaign that includes multicultural festivals, clean and safe neighborhood parks, a community tool shed, youth programs, a new charter high school, more affordable housing, and greater access to computers and technology. In 2002, residents and community partners will continue their work on many other projects that will renew this Peninsula community.
