Do you want to make a difference in the lives of youth? New Perspectives is dedicated to providing a safe environment for the youth of East Palo Alto that will foster healthy development and productive life management.

New Perspectives is always looking for people who can be positive role models. Here are some ways to get involved:

Tutors: one-on-one and small group tutoring on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-6:30pm. Help youth with their homework, school projects, and academic success.

Program Aide: assist in our after school programs with academic assistance, arts & crafts, recreation, and more. Program aids are welcome in both our middle school and high school programs.

Special Events Aid: some special events that New Perspectives provides are dances, battle of the bands, open mic night, movie nights, soccer tournaments, annual Community Carnival, etc. Contact us for upcoming events and how to get involved.

Technology: New Perspectives occasionally needs volunteers to assist with computer trouble shooting.

Career Mentor: as a professional, share your field expertise with youth. Volunteer to be a job site tour guide or participate as a guest speaker.
