Omar Hernandez

I am Mexican-American I was born at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. I am currently a senior at Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto, CA. In my junior year of high school I took a Multimedia class, I didn’t know much about web design but by the time the year ended I learned so much, everything from making a pdf file to designing a website. In Multimedia I participated in the ThinkQuest Competition where I really learned how it was to make a website. I plan to help create a website for Get Fit EPA to inform the community about the importance of staying fit.

Valentin Urena

I am a senior at Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto. I come from a big family including three brothers, one sister, mom and dad. I took four years of art and I am fairly proficient at drawing many things but very poor when it comes to people, especially faces but I am improving. I also took one year of multimedia and that is where I first learned about websites and how to build one. Multimedia also allowed me to work for Get Fit Collaborative where I plan to create an outstanding website for the youth to learn about.

Jenny Jax Foster

Jenny Jax, "JJ", is a full time program associate for First Graduate in San Francisco, CA. She holds a BA in Journalism from Texas A&M University. While attending A&M, she created and coordinated after school programs for the award winning Teen Advisory Board/EXIT program in College Station. She taught multimedia at Jonathan Levin High School in the Bronx, NY and at Eastside Prep in East Palo Alto, CA.
