Sequoia Union High School District (SUHSD) is located in the center of the San Francisco Peninsula in San Mateo County, California. It serves students from eight feeder school districts, including Atherton, Belmont, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, and Woodside.

Target Success Program
This district program helps schools plan and implement parent and community involvement activities that improve student academic achievement and school performance. Target Success recruits (African American, Pacific Islander, and Latino) parents and students to meet with staff on a monthly basis and participate in a range of activities such as Parent Institute, Family Writing Institute, and College Advising Series. Parents also receive individual coaching on how the school systems works and advocacy support for their students.
