The County of San Mateo Human Services Agency strives to promote self-sufficiency,
increase family strength and stability, and improve community health.
Together, our dedicated staff and community partners work tirelessly on
behalf of our clients and working families to help them reach these goals.
The health and well being of children in our community is the Agency's
top priority. Children and Family Services offers a wide range of programs
designed to protect or prevent child neglect and abuse. We also work with
several school districts, cities, and community-based organizations to
deliver school-based social services through our Family Resource Centers.
Human services, counseling, home visiting, enrichment classes, and health
services are available at school sites.
