Artist Residency
A Testimony to Collaborative Education in our Community

Arts Education

By Elaine Bryant, The Phoenix Academy

"Every student in the nation should have an education in the arts." This is the opening statement from "The Value and Quality of Arts Education: A Statement of Principles," a document from the nation's most important educational organizations.

Un Taller Communitario sobre la Calidad del Aire en East Palo Alto

It seems that almost everyone in East Palo Alto has a family member with asthma. In fact, the childhood asthma hospitalization rate in East Palo Alto is twice as high as the rest of San Mateo County.

Did you ever wonder why?
